Internet access cards are similar to prepaid telephone cards, but provide prepaid Internet access instead of voice communication. Like phone cards, the account information is printed on the card. Customers can access the Internet immediately after receiving their card, without any sign-up or delay. Using an Internet access card is identical to setting up any standard prepaid phone dial-up account. Once a user has typed in their “user name”, “password” and telephone number into their dial-up networking software or Internet connection Wizard, they can access the Internet instantly.
